I have been shortlisted for AITO Travel Writer of the Year three times, Travel Media Writer of the Year twice, the British Society of Magazine Editors' Consumer Print Writer of the Year and TravMedia Consumer Staff Writer of the Year.

My work has taken me to more than 60 countries. I have helicoptered across glaciers in the Yukon; sipped matcha with tea masters in Kyoto; met alpacas at Machu Picchu; rode the Ghan across Australia's Outback; and slept in seaside villas, safari camps and some of the world's finest hotels. My words on travel have appeared in the likes of The Times, Condé Nast Traveller, The Independent, i newspaper and High Life.
